2024 Democratic Primary Runoff

Meet Your Candidates

I already voted, why am I voting again?

All candidates are listed in alphabetical order. They may appear in a different order on your ballot. Not all candidates may appear on your ballot.

Uh-oh y’all, there’s a runoff! Never voted in a runoff? Don’t worry, it’s easy.

Runoff elections are triggered when multiple people run in an election and no single candidate gets a majority of the votes. The two candidates with the most votes go into a runoff election. (Ed. note: We could save ourselves the effort and expense of runoffs if we would adopt ranked-choice voting in primaries.) And because runoffs only apply to specific contests, runoff elections only happen in specific districts. Not every voter will be eligible to vote in every runoff election—but if your district has a runoff, you should vote!
