We heard from an incredible slate of candidates and engaged in thoughtful, passionate debate on the issues that matter most to our communities, from AI and emerging technology 🤖 to global conflicts 🌍 to protecting Texas’ natural beauty 🌸

This is what democracy looks like: grassroots voices coming together to build a platform that reflects our shared values. Many of these resolutions are now headed to the state convention in June 🙌

A huge thank you to our Convention Committee and Chairs for organizing such a seamless and inspiring event 👏

👑 Imagine the type of person it would take to get millions of people, at more than 3,300 events worldwide, to use their day off to protest you? Wait ✋️... oh yeah!!! No imagination needed.

🤝 A cabinet meeting is a formal gathering of leaders who help guide decision-making—and that’s exactly what we held this week.

We brought together our Chairwoman (Allison Campolo Campaign Machine), committee chairs, precinct chairs who also serve as House District coordinators, ...Executive Director (Reyne Telles 4Blue Tarrant-FW-TX) and some key volunteers—all in one room. 🤲🗣

Our focus: electing the full slate of Democratic candidates on the November ballot. 🗳️🔵

The dedication and knowledge in the room was great. We heard from a former candidate on what has worked (and what didn’t), and shared feedback from our current slate of awesome candidates... all to better understand what campaigns need right now. 📣

This is how we build momentum—by connecting, listening, aligning and working together to win. 💪🌊

🚨 James Talarico fires back at extremism with something MAGA can’t handle: grace.

After a pastor tied to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, publicly prayed for his death, Talarico responded:

✝️ “Jesus loves. Christian Nationalism kills. You may pray for my death, Pastor,... but I still love you.”

💥 Let that sink in.

While extremists spew hate, our Texas Democrat meets it with faith, compassion, and strength.

🗳️ This is the contrast on the ballot.
💙 This is the leadership we’re fighting for.

👉 If you believe love > hate, SHARE this.

In 1988, Commissioner Bagsby made history as the first woman and the first African American elected to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court. For 16 years, she served Precinct 1 with a legendary straight-shooting style and an unwavering commitment to those in need.

She famously said:
...
"A community is only as good as the people who work and serve it, and there is always work to be done."

From her work in education and public health to her advocacy for youth, her legacy lives on in every corner of our county - and in the Southwest Sub-Courthouse that now proudly bears her name.

Today, we stand on her shoulders as we continue the work of building a more representative and just Tarrant County.

Thank you, Commissioner Bagsby, for leading the way.
