People’s March: “Our Bodies, Our Future” Rally at Tarrant County Courthouse
Fort Worth, TX — January 17, 2025 — The Fort Worth/Dallas chapter of Bans Off Our Bodies and Tarrant County Democratic Party (TCDP) invite community members to join the People’s March: “Our Bodies, Our Future” on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tarrant County Courthouse.
This peaceful rally will amplify voices in support of reproductive rights and bodily autonomy. Participants will gather at the courthouse before marching through Sundance Square, engaging with the community and demonstrating solidarity for reproductive justice.
Key highlights of the event include:
– Engaging Speakers: Inspiring talks from community leaders, activists, and advocates for reproductive rights.
– March Through Sundance Square: A dynamic march showcasing the power of community action.
– Hot Chocolate Networking: A warm and inviting space for participants to connect and discuss how to advance the cause.
The theme of the march, “Our Bodies, Our Future,” underscores the importance of collective action in safeguarding bodily autonomy and envisioning a future rooted in equality, justice, and freedom.
“This rally is a call to action for everyone who believes in the fundamental right to make decisions about our own bodies,” said Candace Sublett, Executive Director of the Tarrant County Democratic Party. “Together, we can build a future where our voices are heard and respected.”
This event is family-friendly, open to all, and wheelchair accessible. We encourage participants to bring signs, wear comfortable clothing, and join us in making history.
