Allison Campolo Returns as Chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party

Pledges to work to restore Tarrant County Government to the People

Fort Worth, TX, July 7, 2025 – Dr. Allison Campolo has been returned as Chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party ahead of crucial midterm elections. Campolo previously served as Chair from 2021 to 2023 and was re-elected with 90 percent of the vote of Democratic Precinct Chairs to lead the party to victory.

“Fiercely independent Texans do not want Republicans controlling every aspect of our lives while snatching funding for healthcare and education from hard working Americans to stuff the pockets of billionaires. The people of Tarrant County are ready for leadership that governs fairly and equitably, instead of the disastrously failed GOP politicians who are running roughshod over the people. We are bringing the fight for democracy and decency to Tarrant County, to save this county, this state, and this country.”

Campolo announced ambitious plans to recruit and train many more precinct chairs and to invest in grass roots voter outreach before the midterms.

Campolo thanked outgoing chair Crystal Gayden, Party leadership, Precinct Chairs, donors and volunteers for their many contributions over the past few years. She also thanked Reverend Dr. Patrick Moses and his supporters for engaging in discussions on how to improve the party.

“I look forward to working alongside everyone as we battle for the soul of our nation and county as one unified, big tent party,” she said.
