To help citizens understand the dynamics of our local government and how the Council's decisions impact their well-being and livelihood. The challenges are: Safety/Gun violence by advocating for implementing COMMUNITY POLICING STRATEGIES: arrest results, conviction and healthy community relations. I plan to reexamine the Comprehensive Master Plan of our City to provide a strategic opportunity to ensure new business developments, while pushing to change our climate and culture. Lastly, create a PEACEFUL AND SAFE SPACE for our Youth. By working to find educational outlets and seeking grants for parks and recreational areas.I believe Every Man, Woman, Boy and Girl. I am running for mayor of Fort Worth to advocate for a more accessible, equitable and transparent municipal government. If you believe wholeheartedly in the U.S. constitution, then yes.
FALSETRUECity of Fort WorthMayorChris WoodIndependentStudentwoodformayor.comCitizens need to engage in self-regulation, which means working issues out among themselves by practicing: (1) safety first, (2) self-care, & (3) looking out for each other & holding each other accountable. Council meetings & public comment sessions should be combined to ensure that citizen voices are heard. Crime prevention efforts should be enhanced, including expanding mental health resources.(1) There is a lot of citizen dissatisfaction. To reduce this, I would promote self-regulation through websites & educational activities.
(2) There was a 3-month period with no public comment meetings putting the city at risk for detrimental consequence. I would combine city council meetings & public comment sessions.
(3) City crime rates are too high so I would expand mental health resources by increasing the number of councilors & reducing wait time for appointments for at-risk citizens.,I believe in minimum wages that allow a person to have a decent standard of living. I support healthcare for everyone. I would like to increase the public transportation system. I want to expand use of clean energy.,I am not seeking approval of the committee

Times are changing and there is a lack of effective leadership and transparency to the residents of District 8.Homelessness, economic development and public safety are the primary issues. #1 Partner with surrounding shelters to ensure adequate housing, provide job training, literacy and mental health resources. Independent,Construction Worker,https://sites.google.com/view/michael-raulerson-for-fw/home,I’m motivated to run for office because I believe right now especially when it comes to the Texas state government that a lot of the policy’s that dictate people’s lives are directly fighting against the interests of the working class. I believe in order to combat this I need to uplift marginalized groups who are being used as scapegoats and fight to uplift the working class of Fort Worth.,1 affordability I believe the cost of living is way too expensive and in order to combat this we should invest in infrastructure and public services.
2 lack of high paying jobs Fort Worth should use its infrastructure projects as a way to provide high paying jobs to its citizens by requiring any companies taking Fort Worth tax dollars to pay at least $20 an hour.
3 housing crisis Fort Worth should declare a municipal emergency to freeze rents at a 5% increase per year.,I believe that my policy’s align very strongly with the democratic base of support because with my policy’s and values I believe we should fight in order to protect marginalized groups and bring back power to the hands of the working class.,I spoke with members of y’all’s organization and I absolutely believe that we’re aligned on how we should combat issues and I hope to work with y’all In the future.

I have learned everything their is to know about city planning, zoming, budgeting and ethicsSmall business growth. That means when we have a good saving and investments, we should get the bonds we need to fix ithings like infrastructure. We should have city services for our senoirs and students. On a local level, if all sides listen to each other then we can have a healthy town that helps their citizens.I am a moderate. It doesn't matter what national party I am when it comes to a local election. What matters is how we approach spending and savings and how we approach growth. We need first time homes in our community. We need 5013c like the YMCA that just opened up here. FALSETRUECity of MansfieldCity Council, Place 5Todd SimmonsRepublicanFinancial Advisorhttps://www.facebook.com/people/Todd-Simmons-for-Mansfield-City-Council/61572573365187/?_rdrI have served on committees and board for MISD, City of Mansfield, Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Mansfield Area Chamber and other service organizations. My education and background give me the credentials and experience to be a viable and successful teammate to the Mansfield City Council. Being President of MEDC gives me a unique insight to growth.1. Apartments - evaluate every new proposed project for need, fiscal impact, and affect on our population. 2. Streets/Infrastructure - we need a robust budget to handle construction and improvement of both streets and W&S. 3. Future Development - with less than 25% vacant land, we must ensure future development is with viable, responsible community partners willing to invest back into Mansfield. My philosophy on government is less is better. I have voted exclusively in the Republican primaries and have no plans to change that. I do however feel that partisan politics can be avoided in local elections. Potholes and water meters do not care about politics. Most Mansfield citizens are concerned about overcrowding, public safety, public works, shopping, and schools.I do not think any candidates for Mansfield City Council Place 5 are Democrat, but I could be wrong. Everyone should be able to make a decision based on who they believe is the most qualified candidate. We need responsible growth directed by qualified, dedicated candidates.

TRUETRUEMansfield ISDBoard of Trustee, Place 3Jason ThomasDemocratDirector of Operationshttps://www.votejasonthomas.com/My motivation to run is to take back our school district from far right groups aimed at destroying the district from the inside out. This may be our last opportunity to reclaim the school district for the voters.1) Prioritize smart budgeting to maximize resources for students and educators.
2) Implement innovative programs and curriculum improvements to raise student achievement.
3) Advocate for policies that ensure a safe supportive and inclusive environment for all students,I am a pro public school candidate who is against school vouchers. Public education works and has worked so well that people seek to dismantle it because an educated electorate is an informed electorate.,I further espouse democratic values through my day-to-day work with Democratic Elected Official Commissioner Alisa Simmons of Tarrant County. I support her operations by serving as the director of Field Operations of Road and Bridge Maintenance.

FALSETRUEMansfield ISDBoard of Trustee, Place 4Ana-Alicia HornDemocratStrategic Development Directorhttps://www.ana4misd.com/I have three children in the district I am running in and am tired of seeing it driven by outside influences and political agendas that don't center our kids and educators. I would love to get back to data-driven, student-centered policies where parents and the community have access and open communication with district leadership.Prioritize All Students
I will fight to fully fund our public schools and oppose agendas that divide our community. I will focus on policies that help kids thrive academically socially & emotionally.
Support Teachers & Staff
Empowering teachers starts with listening trusting their expertise & ensuring they have the pay respect & safe environments needed to help students excel.
Empower Parents
Transparency & data-driven decisions build trust ensuring parents stay informed & engaged.,We must recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach will not work in a district as diverse as ours that covers many cities. We must work to not only support all the differences but celebrate them as well. Academic outcomes are important absolutely but in a district that is almost 50% economically disadvantaged we have to work to invest in the whole child and meet other needs as well.,Strong schools start with accountable leadership. MISD deserves a leader who is accessible transparent and responsible ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and every policy puts students and teachers first. I think this is what separates me from my opponent.

We need leaders focused on real solutions for students.I will ensure public funds stay in public schools, opposing vouchers and advocating for increased funding for teacher salaries, classroom resources, and student programs while prioritizing responsible budgeting.
Teachers need competitive pay professional development and reduced administrative burdens. I’ll support mentorship programs and policies focused on educator retention.
I’ll push for accessible meetings and clear communication to foster trust and accountability.,My values and policy positions focus on equity public education and supporting teachers. I believe in keeping public funds in public schools advocating for fair teacher pay and ensuring every child has equal access to quality education regardless of background or resources.,I bring a unique perspective as a lifelong Mansfield ISD student educator and parent. TRUETRUECity of North Richland HillsCity Council, Place 5Tracy BennettRepublicanActuaryhttps://tracyfornrh.com/I have a passion to serve and make an impact on my community. We need diverse representation in our local city council and not slate politics that is continually being pushed. My conviction is that everyone should have a voice that is heard, not just the loudest or wealthiest. I have the ability to unite across party lines although this is a non-partisan role.1. Representation
• Prioritize community needs over political agendas.
• Become the voice for the silent or overlooked especially the elderly & disabled.
2.Transparency & Responsibility
• Acting responsibly with decisions and public funds.
• Operate efficiently and in the best interest of public .
3..Property Rights / Land Use
• Review current ordinance for any inconsistencies in administration across NRH.
• Determine any areas of resident dissatisfaction to develop a plan,Racial equality is essential to me as the mother of biracial children. I have Muslim & Hindu friends who face discrimination as well. I believe our lower and middle classes are struggling. We need solutions not more taxes on the middle and lower class. Affordable housing is almost non-existent. I do not believe religious beliefs should dictate another person's freedom of choice.,I am an independent free thinker. We do not need an entire church leading our community. One of my opponents Billy Parks has obtained the Tarrant County GOP nomination. He is a Pastor of a local church with the entire city council and mayor supporting him in any and all means necessary. I need any support/funding to attempt to have diversity in our representation. These forms are too short.

I support the reconstruction and infrastructure Improvements to our roads.
Crime & Traffic Violations- With the efforts of myself and others the city installed Flock Safety Cameras. In addition with our salary adjustments our PD is now almost fully staffed including dedicated traffic enforcement officers.
Growth- Oppose zoning changes that increase density.,I scrutinize funding for projects staffing and other needs. When it comes to our budget I review these line item by line item to reduce unnecessary expenditures and streamline city services.,I am completing my first term as Councilman Place 1 and was elected by the City Council to be Mayor Pro Tem in 2024. Independent,Undergraduate Library Research Assistant,https://www.electhuntercrowfortccd72025.com/,I am running for the Tarrant County College Board of Trustees. Because I am a former student in the District. I previously served on Tarrant County South Campus Student Government Association Executive Board as Student Senate Chairman. I deeply care about the wellbeing of the student and staff population at TCC. I wish to use my prospective board position to continue supporting them.,Mental Health Concerns:
My Solution would be access to counseling therapy and other mental health services on campus.
Faculty Recruitment and Workload:
My Solution would be to Ensure that faculty are compensated fairly and that they have access to good benefits.
Declining Enrollment
My Solution would be
Implement strategies to attract and retain students such as offering competitive tuition rates expanding online programs and providing better student support services.,I have a History of Supporting Progressive Values. Even though I've aligned with the Green Party. I have always voted and supported democratic candidates to counter far right republican's in races not contested by Greens. I used to be a Democrat before affiliating with the Green Party. I do agree with many democrat party policies that aline with my values such as immigration and healthcare,My opponent Cary Cheshire last year encouraged the Tarrant County Commissioners court to close early voting sites on Tarrant college campuses. Regardless if I win or lose to my other opponent Veronica Law. Cary Cheshire must not be elected due to those reasons.
