To the County Executive Committee, Elected Officials, and the Faithful Democrats of Tarrant County:

It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as Chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party. Today, I submit my resignation, effective upon the election of my successor at a special election scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Until that time, I will remain fully active and committed to the responsibilities of this office.

Since taking office, we have made tremendous strides to strengthen and re-energize our Party. Together, we:

• Expanded our precinct chair network and reinvested in grassroots organizing;
• Prioritized voter education and turnout in critical local elections;
• Grown our base of supporters and increased grassroots contributions;
• Elevated Democratic visibility through consistent messaging and community partnerships; and
• Created space for historically underrepresented voices, particularly Black women, young voters, and working-class families. 

As I prepare to step aside, I do so with excitement and full confidence in the promise of new leadership. I am looking forward to seeing fresh energy and ideas take us to the next level.

To the voters, volunteers, and residents of Tarrant County: please stay engaged! Your commitment and support is crucial now more than ever. Our mission-to elect democrats – remains the number one priority and can only be accomplished with you.

I will remain an active and engaged supporter of this Party and the next leader who steps forward. I am grateful for the trust you placed in me, and rest assured that my presence will remain on the frontlines. Stay tuned…
