STATEMENT REGARDING DEVELOPMENTS IN THE TEXAS HOUSE DISTRICT 93 RACE

Recently questions have arisen regarding the candidacy of Ericka Lomick for Texas House District 93.

Ms. Lomick informed party officials, and subsequently the public, that she had suspended her campaign. Tarrant County Democratic Party officials very recently became aware of the concerns surrounding the matter and promptly notified the Texas Secretary of State.

Our focus now must be on the work ahead. With Election Day approaching, our Precinct Chairs, House District Coordinators and dedicated volunteers remain focused on supporting Democratic candidates across Tarrant County and Texas, while addressing the issues voters are facing, including high costs at the pump and grocery store, and concerns about Republican leadership at the state and local level.
